To All the Boys I've Loved Before

The book I have read is, To all the boys I've loved before, by Jenny Han. Right now I am reading the sequel, P.S I still love you . She has published many other books, and I'm very excited for her next book this the series, To all the boys I've loved before, called Always and forever, Lara Jean.

This story is about teen romance, drama, and loyalty. Character Lara Jean Song Covey is a junior in high school, she sixteen years old, half Korean, and half Caucasian. She really close with her sister Margo Song Covey going off to college in Scotland, and her little sister Katherine (kitty) song Covey. They call themselves the three song girls, after their mother's maiden name who passed away. Lara jean has written 5 love letters she keeps him a blue hatbox her mother gave her. One of the boys is josh. Josh is dating Margo, Lara jean older sister. Soon later, Margo breaks up with josh because she didn't want to be the girl crying over her boyfriend back home all the way in Scotland. Soon after, Lara jean letters get sent out, and Peter Kavinsky confronted her saying, “For your information, I dont have STD’s”. She was confused at first as she realized he was talking about the letter. In shock, she tells him she wrote it a long time ago. Lara jean goes home and tries to find her has box, no success. She asked her father and he has taken it to Goodwill. Next day, Josh goes to Lara jean asking about the letter. She lies and tells him she doesn't have any feelings towards him, and she's dating someone. He's wondering who's she dating, as Lara jean spots Peter and kisses him. That day, Lara Jean and peter are now fake boyfriend and girlfriend. Yet, as their “relationship” last they start to fall for each other. They go on a ski trip for school and they confess that they like each other. They start to kiss in the hot tub and someone spreader a rumor saying they had sex in the hot tube. Peter denying that he told his friends, and Lara jean ignores him all winter break.

I highly recommend this book to young teen girls. It has so much love and drama, you get so tied into it. It also has a lot of relation to us now, because us young women don't know much about the world yet. I see so many things like this happen in reality, and it honestly just shows how much detail is in this book. I've already read the sequel and I'm waiting for the third book. This series has to be my favorite of all.
