Hard hit was written by Ann Turner. She was born just right after World War 2 in Northampton, Massachusetts. When she was eight years old, she had wrote her first story. She’ve wrote about, at least over 40 books. She is married now and is living with her husband and son.
Hard hit is about a boy name Mark Warren who is trying to work his way through hardship. He is the star pitcher of his high school baseball team and haves a new girlfriend. He figured out that his dad had now have cancer. Now that he knows that his world had changed. Now he haves to start learning to do things independently and work his way through.
What I think about this book is, I think it is good for those who haves the same problem like Mark Warren. This book leaves examples of how you can go through negativity in your life and fight through hardship. I will give this book a rate out of 10, which is 7 because somewhat in parts of the story is quite boring for me. And if you like to read poems, this book is written in a poem format and is very descriptive.
