Scarlet

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

The author of this book had a very colorful imagination about the plot settings, and the extra details. She wrote down these details in a very creative way making it sound realistic and setting the future as a good example. Although there was tons of violence and romance the tone she put it in just set the mood and made you wanting to read more and more every time. She talked about different planets with living life on them, she had kings, queens, Dukes, duchesses, princess and princes involved all in the story.

This story is basically about a Lunar fugitive named Cinder trying to reclaim her throne from Queen Levana (cinders aunt that tried to kill cinder at a young age). Cinder escapes from prison running around the Eastern Commonwealth with Thorne (a friend) and Scarlet (another SPECIAL friend). “My men are equipped for battle, their K9 teeth are sharper than normal, their claws are longer than usual, their furrier than any other animal you will ever see, you can feel their thoughts. Their thoughts are horrendous, all that's on their mind is kill kill kill. I love it.” (Queen Levana). Personally I loved this book because it has all the science fiction characteristics that I love and it’s just set the way I've always pictured it.

I think this book was written for people that have a creative mindset and always picture the future as like robots taking over the world and electronic things becoming the new everyday thing. For insistence everything you do would involve some type of robot or high quality electronic device. I also think all type of readers would like this book, it has more than one topic in it. It's perfect! I encourage everyone to read this trilogy it's AMAZING!!!!! They are very long books but once you start you can't stop!! Try it, you won't be disappointed. I promise.
