A Child Called It
David is six years old and lives in a family of five other children with more to come later. David's mother isn’t nice to him. She treats him poorly compared to his other siblings. She puts clorox in a bucket which makes him sick because of the gases. She traps in him the bathroom for 20 minutes which causes him to cough up blood because it is so bad. He sleeps in the garage with nothing but an old army cot. His brothers are forced to ignore him while they play outside. His mother starves him up to seven days and uses food to tease David. While he does chores for his mother, she is either drunk lying on the couch or planning something terrible for David .
At school David is isolated and lonely. All of his classmates despise him and won't talk to him or try to be his friend. David wears the same clothes everyday. He steals lunches from kids in his class and runs to a gas station by his school to steal food. When he comes home from school his mother makes him throw up to see if he ate anything. She will make him sit in the basement on his hands for hours. At the end of the day david is extremely exhausted and prays to god why this is happening to him.
His father barely comes home to visit the family because he doesn't want to deal with mother and watch his son suffer. Teachers and school nurses are starting to figure out that david is getting abused . Sooner or later they called the police and david was put into a foster home.

alcohol so the mother and father didn't want him in there lives until he could
get himself together. their family members knew about this but couldn't help
because the were also poor.so one day Oddjob a cousin of the family said that
he had a business and would get them a place to live. A couple of weeks later
doctor mitchell an old friend of ms hills rant into each other and they coughs
up on things and she told him about her life story of when she was homeless
.she has no job to buy the things that she needs so he offered to help
out.doctor Mitchell came around the place more often and they started to fall

together and finally they started to date each other. I really like this book
,it really reacts to many life's of a teenager.the point was showing how you
can go from nothing to something even better. This is such a good book ,you can
really learn from a perspective of someone with struggles

Drama High: Second Chance
The book I'm reviewing is called “Drama High: Second Chance”
by L. Divine, this is just one of many novels such as “Lady J”, “Cold as ice”,
“ The Meltdown” and many more. They all pretty much relate to each other in a
way because it's mostly the same character in all of the books, She doesn't
constantly switch up like most novelist do, but this story specifically is
mostly about teen drama and high school.
This story is mostly about a Junior in
High School named Jayd, and how she is dealing with all the drama with boys,
some old friends, and even a teacher. She has a lot of challenges and big decisions
throughout this book that she has to face and she also encounters a lot of
discrimination since she has found a new white man whom not a lot of people
approve of.
What really caught my attention is the whole book itself, but if I
had to choose it would be the part when Jayd and her new man Jeremy went to the
mall and bumped into an ex and a few old friends, I'm not going to so to much
but it wasn't pretty. Another one of my favorite parts of this book is when
Jayd stood up for what she believed in and filed a complaint against one of the
most powerful teachers in the school.
Overall I really, actually love this book
because it's not one boring part in the book and it makes you not want to stop
reading, it's like I get excited everytime I open the book and start reading it
again because you will never know what's going to happen next. This book feels
like it was mostly directed for young adults and teens because some of the
content in this book has to do with things teens go through like drama, boys
troubles, and things like that but I'm pretty sure it would catch an eye of all
audiences in all different age groups and grade levels.
I would highly consider
everyone to read this book because it's fun and drama filled and even if you
don't have a lot of time to read it you can read little bits at a time and I
promise this book will definitely make you not only want to keep reading but
read all L. Divine’s other novels as well.

The 39 Clues: In Too Deep
The 39 Clues is a series about two kids on a journey to find something that their grandmother hide that almost the whole family is on the hunt for. Amy and Dan are the main characters in this book, but it mostly revolves around Amy. Amy and Dan go through a lot of things in this book. I recommend this book to people that like a little bit of action and a lot of mystery. This book is full of amazing twist and turns, but I don't like this book personally it is uninteresting to me, but I have read a lot of this series some were better than others, so if you don't like it then check out some of the other books from this series. I am sure you will like at least one of the books.

Until They Bring the Streetcars Back
I have read the book called Until They Bring the Steercars Back by Stanley Gordon West. Stanley wrote a lot of books pretty similar to The
streetcars book. Most of Stanley Gordon West’s book was based on history.
Stanley had a very colorful imagination about the plot settings, and the extra
details. He wrote down these details in a very creative way making it sound
realistic and setting the future as a good example. Although there was tons of
violence and some romance the tone he put it in just set the mood and made you
wanting to read more and more every time. He talked about the responsibilities
that people have for each other. He had all kind of people in a story.
The book is about a teenage boy name Cal who does everything
to help, solve the case of Little Jacob. One day Cal did something just to help
find evidence of Little Jacob but he was not supposed to to do what he have
done. Cal broke someone’s house without any permission to get Little Jacob’s
dead body out of that house but he was caught. Cal did not stopped even though
the plan he had was not worked out for him.
I really like this book because it shows that our
responsibilities does go to others. The book is written for those who has
responsibilities toward others but they don't show in action. It is written to
motivate others to have respect, care, and loyal toward people. I think
people would like it because I,m sure that we all relate to this story. I
really recommended this book to all kind of people, such as men or women, young
or old because everyone is relate to this story. You should read this
wounderful book right now. Once you start reading this book you will learn how
one man solved a lot of problems even thought he faced so obstacles.

Taken
Introduction: A mystery book called Taken written by Norah
McClintock
Furthermore, “Two girls have recently disappeared near the
town where Stephanie lives. She is concerned but but is sure that it could
never happen to her. But then it does. Tied up and alone far from home, she
manages to escape her captor and run for her life. But she is in the middle of
nowhere, with no food, no shelter, and no way home. I lay on the gritty wooden
floor of the filthy shack, frozen with terror. And worst of all, she has ran
away before, so she is sure that the police won't take her disappearance seriously.
She will need to save herself/ calling on lessons learned from her grandfather
and an inner strength she never thought she had.”
I really liked this book. It wasn’t as good as I thought it
would be, but it wasn’t that bad either.
Author McClintock was able to write the book so well that I
was able to form a picture of what was happening in mind. I was able to imagine
what I would have felt if I had been in the same situation as Stephanie.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes kidnapping stories.
