Silence

Silence by Natasha Preston

This book reminds me of me because, before her silence, she was getting bullied at school, didn’t really have any friends but her boy best friend that she knew since she was little. He was the only one she would talk to and love being around, and that was me at a time, only had a few people I talked to and love to hang with. But everyone knows that, during a certain time, all friendships and relationships don’t last a long time, even though yall been through alot with each other, you can’t trust everyone you call your friends. I was only close to like three people who I thought I could trust but they broke that and to this day, it’s hard to trust anyone anymore. I think in the book, she really can’t trust anyone because of the things she went through and just can’t put her trust into people anymore and that’s probably why she stopped talking.

I can relate to the main character because, she been going through the same similar things i was going through with some of the people who I thought I could call my friends/ best friends, be feeling like you don’t have nobody to turn to or talk too because you think they gonna judge you of what you gonna say. I feel her pain thought out the whole book, nobody wants to go to somewhere and everytime they turn around there's somebody talking, laughing, pointing, sharing like the haven’t seen a person before.

This book can relate to real life because, there are real kids out here who really be going through these things and be telling nobody about it and really be going through a lot by themselves. It’s not good for anybody to go through bullying or other things that’s outside of school, no child should go through anything like that at a young age. Bullying is the number one thing that’s a problem everywhere in the world, don’t matter what race, clothes, shoes, hair done or not, their will always be somebody or a person who’s always hating and have to say something about you, but it’s up to you if you believe in the rumours, believe the lies. There really nothing different. What's going on in the real world, there was a kid who was in her shoes and stop talking to her friends/ family because of something that happen to them or they couldn’t just take it no more and just started being by themselves and don’t care if they had friends or not.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Perks Of Being A Wallflower is written by Stephen Chbosky. Stephen Chbosky has written many novels but the the perks of being a wallflower was the book that peaked his success of being a writer. The perks of being a wallflower is about a fifteen year old boy name Charlie who is coping with the lost of his best friend who commited suicide over the summer, so charlie starts feeling anxiety about starting high school with no friends so he starts writing letters to a stranger about his life.

Later in the book charlie gets really close to his english teacher and he helps charlie with shyness eventually charlie meets a guy name patrick and have a really nice friendship from there first encounter with each other during class and after there little conversation patrick takes charlie to meet his step sister sam who charlie develops a crush on throughout the story. At the end of story a big secret charlie has been keeping from his parents is unrevealed to them which makes do some harsh things that lead him to go to the hospital and receive treatment and there in that hospital is where charlie sends off his last letter to the stranger which makes chairle notice that  he wants to get out of his head and into the real world, participating in life instead of just watching it fly by

I enjoyed reading this book I would recommend this book to any teen and up, because the book goes through a lot of rough moments that people in our generation would go through in their everyday life. This book shows that even if you are a shy wallflower you can always find the right people or person to help comfort you with their presence. These people could bring you out your shell and show you that you a bright star hiding behind your scars and flaws In life.
